Mani Ratnam has signed up several actors and actresses for his Kadal, including Gautham Karthik, Samantha and Aravind Samy, we hear that Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan may do a cameo in this film.
Mani Ratnam has a role for Pawan in this film and feels that it could be the USP in the Telugu version of Kadal. Following this, Pawan has been approached but the outcome of this is yet to be confirmed by either one of the parties. AR Rahman is scoring the music for Kadal with Vairamuthu penning the lyrics.
